This is just general knowledge that every Young Marine is expected to know throughout his/her career as a Young Marine.

Young marines obligation

From this day for ward, I sincerely promise, that I will never do anything to bring disgrace or dishonor upon my God, my Country and its flag, my parents, myself or the Young Marines. These I will honor and respect in a manner that will reflect credit upon them and myself. Semper Fidelis.

Marine's Hymn

From the halls of Montezuma

To the shores of Tripoli;

We fight our countries battles

In the air, on land, and sea;

First to fight for right and freedom

And to keep our honor clean;

We are proud to claim the title of

UNITED STATES MARINES.

Our flags unfurled to every breeze

From dawn to setting sun;

We have fought in every clime and place

Where we could take a gun;

In the snow of far off northern lands

And sunny tropic scenes;

You will always find us on the job-

UNITED STATES MARINES.

Heres health to you and our corps

which we are proud to serve;

In many a strife we’ve fought for life

And never lost our nerve;

If the Army and the Navy

Ever look to the heaven’ scenes;

They will find the streets are guarded by

UNITED STATES MARINES.

Young Marine Hymn

From the north and from the south we’ll come

From the east and the west

We will all enlist in the Young Marines

And forever do our best.

From the halls of all the grammar schools

To the shores of all our lakes

We will be the finest Young Marines

No matter what it takes.

Let the boy scouts and the girls scouts march;

Let the cub scouts strut and beam

Oh, you haven’t seen the greatest yet

Til you’ve seen the Young Marines.

We salute the sailor boys in blue

And the army in their greens

We are proud to bear the title of

The U.S. Young Marines

Pledge of allegiance

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America--and to the republic for which it stands--One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Chester the mascot

This is Chester, the mascot for the Young Marines.

I've always been proud of being a Marine. I won't hesitate to defend the Corps.
