               YOUNG MARINE CADENCE

My brother is in the Marine Corps.
He says he is really sore.
He does PT everyday.
He is so far away.

I flew there to see what he has done.
I found my brother carrying guns.
He has pride and walks real tall.
I really liked what I had saw.

When I went home, I joined the Young Marines.
They taught me what hard work means.
My futures looking really bright.
I will work hard day and night.
I don't carry guns and I don't fight.
But I walk with pride and with might.

My friends say I stand really tall.
If you saw my eyes and D.I Style.
You would begin to walk in a file.

Every Marine is, first and foremost, a rifleman. All other conditions are secondary.
